Black Optical asked Gardner Studio to rethink the customer-facing side of its luxury eyewear store with a warmer, quieter kind of elegance. The answer was not more display. It was better framing.
Walnut millwork wraps the room and organizes the point of sale, wall panels, and custom cases into one continuous interior. Designed, fabricated, and installed by Gardner, the detailing gives the store a calm, timeless background and lets the eyewear carry the color.
