Built in 1921, the Main Street Arcade is one of the few remaining pieces of Oklahoma City's historic Main Street. Gardner Studio first helped restore the building, then worked with Dayclub to fit a flexible workplace into its long floor plates, original windows, brick, and wood.
The street level combines reception, everyday work, and an event room that can shift from a quiet morning to a full house. Upstairs, private offices and open workstations are pulled toward the perimeter so the original floor-to-ceiling windows can do their job. Deep green and blue tones sit comfortably beside the historic materials, while an oversized wood lattice creates a memorable screen from the street without blocking the light. Custom doors and furniture carry the same pattern and palette through the building.
