The project scope includes a new softball field, upgraded stadium press box, and a new education building addition. This addition, which introduces a college atmosphere into the high school campus, is designed to provide space for new specialty programs. In addition to concurrent education classrooms, it includes lab spaces for biotechnology, nursing, and the trades, with formal and informal gathering spaces integrated throughout.
The architecture of the new addition spaces to the butterfly roof of the adjacent media center, and utilizes detailed masonry to craft a unique identity. The interior design follows a sophisticated industrial aesthetic. Metal panel ceilings reveal glimpses of exposed structures above, while accent paint highlights entries, circulation, and gathering areas, aligning with school colors.
